Tuesday, I got a little break from Spring Break with the kiddos and had a double date lunch at Pei Wei with my man and another couple. It was spontaneous and such a delight to have adult conversation in the middle of the day.
That night I helped celebrate LeAnne’s birthday. She’s not only my hair dresser but a dear friend. She has the most contagious laugh and always has a good story to tell.
I was exhausted from the day entertaining the kids but was able to enjoy the evening and simply be grateful for good frienships. It got me thinking…

True friends to me are people that come into your life and you know right away that they are meant to be there; they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or help you figure out who you are and what is important in life. They help to build you up, never weigh you down. It’s most important to reciprocate.
