What Color Girl Are You?

You Are A Gold Girl

You’re dependable and hard working. You never miss a deadline – and you’re never late.

You have a clear sense of right and wrong. You’re very detail oriented.

You get frustrated when your friends are sloppy – or when they don’t follow through.

You’re on top of things, and you wish that everyone else was!

Heather and I are the same color! {{giggle}} I wish I was never late on a deadline. I used to be on top of everything – however this 3rd little guy has blasted most of my good habits. Now that he’s 2 I’ve recommitted myself to getting back to basics.

On a personal note: I’ve either walked and/or walked on my treadmill every day this week. I have shin splints and my back is killing me. However, I totally committed to keeping myself moving. One thing I have discovered is that when I walk in the morning it zaps my energy for that day. Do you have that problem?

I think I may need to stick with evening walks/work outs and long soaks in the tub at night. That’s more my rythm. 😉

  1. ♥ I’m Gold too! I find that working out in the morning is the best for me. Usually first off but I know if I don’t drink enough water and if I slow down then I get a little sleepy too. However if I say I’m going to work out at night then usually I’ll find a reason not too by that night! 🙂

  2. Working out in the morning makes me eat like a pig all day. The harder I work out, the harder it is to satisfy my appetite. I don’t know if it’s because my metabolism’s up or what. I’m like that ravenous beast in the Spaghettio commercial.

  3. My third baby is 8 years old, and I still can’t find my groove. I am also spent for the day when I exercise in the morning, but can’t find time to do it if I wait. I therefore don’t exercise very often! Keep it up! (Oh, I’m also like Chanda, I eat CONSTANTLY when I work out in the morning!)

  4. So with you, Laurie. I have to work out in the evenings. I can push myself a little harder, drink lots of water and then roll myself into bed.

  5. Laurie, I love your blogs! This is my first time checking out your personal blog but I love Tip Junkie and Executive Homemaker. I’ve gotten so many ideas for Enrichment, Home, Family etc. I also have 3 boys! And one of them happens to be named Drake also! Thanks for all you do! I hope all your hard work is worth it in the end.

I can only work out after I get off wok at midnight! Weird , I know! But that’s the time I dedicate to myself and feel great afterwards!
